Salary £27511 to £40322 per annum, pro rata depending on skills and experience (minimum £30942 with relevant PhD). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance
We are looking to recruit a part-time Research Associate/Fellow for maternity cover on the Test@Work Study. The person appointed will join a strong multidisciplinary team of researchers working with the public, private and third sector to develop and deliver interventions aimed at increasing access to health testing in non-clinical settings. This provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a team who are looking to deliver opt-in HIV testing in the workplace setting and provide support and guidance to employers through an online resource.
With the support of project team members, the successful candidate will be expected to update a digital guidance package for employers liaise with third sector organisations to deliver and evaluate general health checks at worksites within the construction industry. These health checks will include opt-in HIV testing. The post-holder may be required to travel to study sites in the East Midlands (although this could be subject to changes in re-planning due to covid-19). The role holder may be required to undertake work on a systematic literature review and collect and/or analyse qualitative or quantitative data.
Candidates should have Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (health psychology or other relevant health discipline).
This part-time (25h per week) post will be offered on a fixed-term contract, for maternity cover until 28 February 2021. Job share arrangements may be considered.
