About the Department
The Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering (NBE) aims at understanding of system-level dynamic functions of the human brain, mind and body. The research, enabled by state-of-the-art technology and computational methods, leads to discoveries and technological breakthroughs that contribute to health and wellbeing.
We are offering an interesting full-time employment in a research project as a project employee working with a digital software application for healthcare.
You will develop a novel software, get to ideate, create and test innovative solutions together with the multi-professional team. In this project, you will be able to grow your expertise, take responsibility and influence your own working environment. The project aims to create business from research, and we see you having a great role on this journey.
This is the perfect opportunity for you, who wish to continue towards pursuing a PhD degree as the health tech research and the product development conducted during the project should result in scientific publications.

The employment starts August-September 2020 and continues during1/2021-6/2022 if project funding is granted. The salary for project employee is ~3300€/month. The workplace is located at the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, Aalto University.
